What we collect

When you sign in with X, we receive and store:

• Your X account ID, handle, display name, profile picture and account creation date (used to check eligibility).
• The email address on your X account, which X shares at sign-in. We use it only to manage your login and never show it publicly.
• Your game activity: hunts you verify, the ID of the X post that verified each hunt, BITES, streaks, ranks and competition results.

How verification uses your posts

When you tap VERIFY HUNT, we read your most recent public X posts made since the hunt started, using the X API, to check for the required action. We store only the ID of the matching post, not your other posts.

Prize winners and payout addresses

If you win a prize, you give us a public Solana address so we can send it. We store that address with your prize and use it only to pay you. We never ask for, and never store, a secret phrase or private key.

Blockchain payments are public by nature. When a prize is paid, the Winners Hall shows your X handle, place, prize and a link to the payment on a public blockchain explorer — and anyone following that link can see the address it was sent to. Please use an address you're comfortable being public.

Donations to the community vault

Donations are made on the public Solana blockchain, so the sending address and amount are public there for anyone to see. FLEA HUNT reads recent donations from the blockchain to show the vault's balance and, if enabled, a supporters list. Supporters are shown as "Anonymous" — we only show a name if you ask us to. We don't link donations to your FLEA HUNT account or X profile.

Your country

Some prize competitions aren't open in every country. To show the right information, our website host tells us which country your connection appears to come from (based on your IP address) on each visit. We use this only to decide whether to show prize details, and we don't store it.

What is public

• Your X handle, display name, profile picture, BITES, streak and rank appear on the public leaderboards and competition standings.
• Your SHARE MY BITES card and its page are public too, showing the same game stats as the leaderboard. Anyone with the link can view them, and X shows the card as a preview when the link is posted.
• Prize winners appear in the Winners Hall, as described above.

Cookies and storage

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage to remember which hunts you opened. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Who processes your data

• Supabase — database and sign-in.
• X — sign-in and reading public posts for verification.
• Vercel, our website host — serving the site and detecting your country.
• A Solana network provider — reading the vault and prize wallet balances and confirming payments on the public blockchain.

We don't sell your data.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time, and revoke FLEA HUNT's access in your X settings under connected apps. To have your account and game data deleted, message @FLEAONSOL on X. Payments already made on a blockchain can't be erased by anyone, and we may keep basic records of prizes paid where the law requires it.
